At Seventh Street Baptist Church, we have two choirs. The adult choir that starts with 7th grade and our S.W.A.P Team (Singing With A Purpose) that is ages 4 through 6th grade.

S.W.A.P. Team practices Sunday afternoon from 4-4:50 before the AWANA program which starts at 5. This youth choir was organized in 2006 and has had a steady growth and now has nearly 20 children participating. In addition to an Easter cantata and Christmas cantata, the S.W.A.P. Team periodically brings special music during Morning Worship Services. Directed by Kathy McGowin, the youth choir learns to communicate the gospel message through song at an early age.  SWAP Team will begin their 2010-2011 year on September 12th at 4:00 PM (immediately before Awana)www.seventhstreetbaptist.org/message.php

The adult choir practices Wednesday, from 6:25-6:50 before the midweek prayer meeting. They present an Easter cantata and a Christmas cantata.  The choir is blessed to have a wide range of accompaniment, including organ, piano, keyboard, clarinets, flutes, bass guitar, and drums, and we welcome additions!
